Ampworks MotorVator™ Programmable Controller

Ampworks advise that they have established Meccanisms Limited to take on the international marketing of the MotorVator™ Programmable Controller, and appointed MeccParts.com to manage direct sales. Meccanisms Limited will be exhibiting the range at the Nuremberg Toy Fair (the world’s biggest) in February 2004.
Production is now in full swing, and units are available ex stock in Traditional Red or Modern Yellow. The new production offers the improved Director II control console with auto-centering joysticks.
Until Christmas, MeccParts.com are offering the Basic
MotorVator 4 Outfit, including:- MotorVator 4 controller, MotorVate Programming
environment (Windows PC required), PC Connect Cable, Storage Box and Spare Plugs
at $NZ630.00 (inc GST). Included as a free bonus are 2 Servo Motors and Mounting
plates, a free 6V 1.5A power supply plus free shipping within NZ (total retail
value $NZ130+).
The Director 2 is available for an additional $NZ98 (inc GST).
Australian buyers can purchase free of New Zealand GST and free of Australian import duties. Australian Customs have said that Australian GST does apply but that they do not collect Australian GST on packages of under $A1000 in value. Hence the nett result for Australian buyers is a purchase price of $NZ560 (including the free bonus offers) plus $NZ20 postage. On the current exchange rate this is about $A505.
The Director 2 will add approximately $A77 (ex GST) to the total.
