Tornado Aircraft by John Thorpe
This model won the 2006 Issigonis Shield at Skegness.
I was at Skegness yesterday and for me the most impressive model was John's Tornado. He must also be congratulated on how he presented it. Had it been stood on the table it would not have been half as eye catching. John chose to present it in flight and it obviously gave him great pleasure to demonstrate his well rehearsed routine. There was even an audio accompaniment and he showed the folding undercarriage and the swing wings with all the flaps. - Roger Thorpe.
